It’s been a busy few weeks for us here at Hawley Crescent and things don’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon. We capped off April by supplying food for the judges and coaches at the Ontario Trampoline and Tumbling Provincial Championships last weekend = 4 meals (lunches and dinners) feeding 75 people each meal. The event was a great success and it served as a warm-up for an upcoming event next week. We picked up a two new clients in April and appear to have a number of opportunities coming our way in May / June. The commercial kitchen deal has been finalized, a number of events have been planned for the upcoming weeks and our community involvement has continued to grow with our participation in Provincials, our sponsorship of Anderson Collegiate’s production of “Ash Girl” and support of their multicultural week (I’ll be preparing Jerk Chicken with Rice and Peas for the event).

We will be hosting an open house on May 16 in support of Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution and will be having Thursday information nights beginning in June. These evenings will consist of us partnering with other local small-businesses to discuss our services and introduce you to these other local businesses – there’s so many amazing businesses out there to connect with.

June will also mark the beginning of our Take Away Friday Dinner nights, where customers can pre-order meals for delivery or pickup. These meals will be precooked – all you have to do is heat and eat. Menus will be going out shortly – please let us know if you are interested in receiving order forms and information.
